We support a wide range of Christmas-themed designs for your baking packaging, including festive patterns like snowflakes, Christmas trees, Santa Claus, and reindeer, paired with classic holiday colors such as red, green, gold, and silver—we can also blend in your brand’s unique colors or logos to make the packaging more personalized and suitable for the Christmas season!
We offer a variety of high-quality materials for Christmas baking packaging (including food-grade cardboard, oil-resistant cardboard, foil board, and laminated board) to meet the needs of customers at different levels—whether you’re looking for cost-effective options for daily use, durable choices for heavy Christmas fruit cakes, or premium materials for luxury holiday gifting, our diverse material selection has you covered for the festive season!
Our Christmas Cake Boards feature a strong three-layer pressed board structure that makes them super reliable for holiday use. This special design helps the boards keep out moisture and resist oil stains effectively, so your cakes stay fresh and the board never collapses easily under pressure. What’s more, they’re carefully made to be stackable during shipping—you can pile them up neatly without worrying about them getting stuck or crushed. Whether you’re transporting lots of cakes or storing them temporarily, this sturdy and practical structure works perfectly for your busy Christmas season needs!

This is just a small part of the products we sell. We also have various styles of cake boards, such as heart-shaped cake boards, hexagon cake boards, large cake boards, rectangular cake boards, and many other regular-shaped and irregular-shaped cake boards that can be customized. Food-grade cardboard
Food-grade cardboard is safe for touching food (no harmful chemicals). It has no oil or water protection—oil soaks in easily, and water makes it soft. It’s cheap and often used as inner liners for cake or cookie boxes.
Foil board Foil board
has a thin foil layer on top. It’s food-safe, stops oil/water, keeps food warm, and is strong. It’s a bit more expensive, great for Christmas cake boxes and fresh-keeping baked goods.
Oil-resistant cardboard
Oil-resistant cardboard is food-safe with a special coating. It stops oil from soaking through (perfect for pizza or creamy cakes) but resists little water. It’s cheaper than foil board.
Laminated board
Laminated board is covered with thin plastic. It’s waterproof, stain-resistant, and has bright printed designs. Its oil resistance is just okay—use food-safe plastic for food packaging. Good for high-end Christmas cake box outer layers.

1. Pantone Colors – Good Christmas colors to use: Pantone 186C (red), 342C (green), 871C (gold), 877C (silver)
– Use Pantone special colors for bright or metallic shades—CMYK can’t make them look as good
- Adjust ink for different materials (like foil board or laminated board) so colors stick well
2. Avoid CMYK Color Mistakes
– Christmas red: Use CMYK (0, 100, 100, 0) to keep it from looking pink
- Christmas green: Use CMYK (100, 0, 100, 0) to avoid a yellow tint
- Check printers before printing; test a sample first to make sure colors are right – Check every 500 prints during mass production
3. Hot Stamping Tips
– Stamp small areas only (less than 30% of the design), like logos or snowflakes—big areas may peel off
- Use cold stamping for laminated boards; use hot stamping (120-150℃) for cardboard or foil board
- Line up stamped patterns with printed designs (error less than 0.1mm) – Test if the stamped layer stays on (use 3M tape—no peeling allowed)
4. Other Important Tips – Pictures (like Christmas trees) need resolution ≥300dpi; text size ≥8pt (easy to read)
– Leave extra 3mm on edges for cutting (no white gaps after cutting) – Use food-safe ink for cake packaging (meets FDA standards)
- Choose ink that works in cold (-5℃) and warm (40℃) weather for shipping
5. Christmas Peak Season Reminder
- Test samples 7-10 days early
- Add 2-3 days for special processes (like hot stamping or lamination)
– Make prints scratch-resistant (use lamination or varnish) for stacking during shipping
1. Upgrade Packaging Strength
Choose thick cake boards (10-12mm for heavy Christmas cakes) and double-layer corrugated boxes. Add reinforced edges to cake boxes—they won’t bend during stacking or transport.
2. Secure Internal Items
Put bubble wrap or tissue paper around cake boards/boxes to fill gaps. Use tape to fix items inside the outer box—no moving means less damage. For tiered cake packaging, separate layers with cardboard dividers.
3. Protect Against Moisture & Oil
Use foil or laminated packaging to keep water and oil out. Add a thin plastic bag inside the box if shipping in humid areas—this stops the packaging from getting soft.
4. Mark Shipping Labels Clearly
Write “Fragile” and “This Side Up” on the outer box with bold ink. Add a “Do Not Stack Heavy Items” note—logistics teams will handle the package more carefully.
5. Fit Shipping Needs
For long-distance shipping, use thicker outer boxes (≥5mm) and add extra bubble wrap. For cold weather, choose packaging that won’t crack in low temperatures (-5℃ to 40℃). These simple steps help keep your Christmas baking packaging safe during transport!
